Results are given below for the 1990 AMC, held on Tuesday 31 July. There were 2 perfect scores.

Medals were presented at a function held at Government House, Sydney, on Monday 29 October, by the Governor of New South Wales, His Excellency Rear Admiral Peter Sinclair AO.

Two Intermadiate medallists, Benjamin Burton and Anthony Henderson, were to go on and win IMO Gold Medals. Both now teach mathematics at Australian Universities, Benjamin at the University of Queensland and Anthony at the University of Sydney.
