Steve Thornton

Position(s): Steve joined the staff of the Australian Mathematics Trust in February 1997 and is developing a national teacher project (Australian Mathematics Teacher Enrichment Project, AMTEP). This is aimed at helping teachers to work with talented students and will involve coursework which can lead to a Graduate Certificate at the University of Canberra. In 2001 Steve resigned to take up an academic position in the University of Canberra's Division of Communication and Education. He still administers this Graduate Certificate.
