Australian Invitational Informatics Olympiad

The Australian Invitational Informatics Olympiad (AIIO) is a programming competition for Australian and New Zealand students and is held each year in February. Around 40 students are invited to participate each year.

The AIIO is an important part of AMT’s Olympiad program and is used to identify talented students who may be invited to the Informatics Selection School, which is an important step in the pathway to representing Australia at the International Olympiad in Informatics.

We congratulate all participants in the Australian Invitational Informatics Olympiad. The official competition results are listed below.

Note that published results list only contain the names of the students that have sent a signed consent form to AMT and who have achieved an Honourable Mention or above. If you have participated and your results aren’t shown please contact us.

The Olympiad programs are supported by the Australian Government Department of Industry, Science and Resources through the Science Competitions: Mathematics and Informatics Olympiads grant opportunity. The Olympiad programs are also supported by the Trust’s National Sponsor of the Australian Informatics and Mathematical Olympiads, Optiver.
