AMOC Senior Contest

The AMOC Senior Contest brings together some of the finest young problem solvers from around the country for an invitation-only competition.

This contest is a major part of AMT’s Olympiad program. It is used to identify talented students who may be invited to the AMOC School of Excellence in December, which is an important step in the pathway to representing Australia at such international events as the International Mathematical Olympiad and European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad.

Invitations to the AMOC Senior Contest, held in August each year and Australian Mathematical Olympiad, held in February each year, are the responsibility of the AMOC State Director in each state or territory.

Each year the official results are listed for those who achieved Honourable Mention, in order of award and then in alphabetical order.

Published results only contain the names of students that have returned a signed consent form to AMT. If you have received an award and your results aren’t shown please contact us at highperformance@amt.edu.au.

We congratulate those who participated in the 2023 AMOC Senior Contest.

The Olympiad programs are supported by the Australian Government Department of Industry, Science and Resources through the Science Competitions: Mathematics and Informatics Olympiads grant opportunity. The Olympiad programs are also supported by the Trust’s National Sponsor of the Australian Informatics and Mathematical Olympiads, Optiver.
